Those two symbols are basically identical to me. Except one is a light gray and the other a navy blue. Why? Just why? The number of times I’ve had to rip it out and fix it….

As expected we had a few accidents at first. She peed on quite a few carpets and seemed drawn to the bathroom where she peed and pooped on the bath mats a few times. We ended up keeping the door to the bathroom closed to eliminate that temptation and gave her treats outside when she went and she caught on quickly.
Since the first month or so she has had no accidents until last week. Out of nowhere she peed on the carpet twice. So we went back to giving treats outside and all seems good again. Not sure if she just needed a reminder/refresher, it seemed like she understood the concept. We’re back to no treats outside since frankly she’s difficult to give treats to after she goes, she tends to zoom kick her back legs and then zoom around a bit out of reach.
All that being said, she did pee in our bed at first until she started sleeping with us, but one of our blankets now definitely smells like pee. There’s no stain so I’m not sure how it happened, and it’ll be a much bigger pain to wash than the sheets since I’m not sure it will fit in the machine. So maybe we’re not as fixed as I thought with the house training.
Why is it that every shop of speciality kibble seems to want you to sign up for an expensive subscription plan?
I’m looking to try to get Cashew a kibble to use for training treats so she can get some nutrition and I can train more without feeling bad. I don’t trust these brands that haven’t gone through the same studies to feed her full time, but something like unkibble from spot and tango seems like it could be an appealing treat. However when I go to the website they want info to sign me up for a plan, I can’t just buy a bag. I don’t want a whole plan!
So she’s probably just going to get some different brand of standard kibble because I can’t find any freeze dried or other that looks good and is easy to obtain. Seems counterproductive to make your product hard to get, but I guess maybe the hope is once people sign up for a subscription they won’t cancel. So I’ll just try a Hills dental kibble, maybe it’ll help her teeth too.
Don’t get me wrong, love the auto ship subscription from Chewy, but I can choose what goes in that and they just automate the shipping for me. I can switch out her kibble or cancel anytime and buy a different bag of something if I want.

I’ve been staring at this blank blog for over a week. It seemed like such a good idea, a place to share my (admittedly slow) crafting progress and thoughts. But then when I bought the domain, reality set in. Why would people want to read about my crafts, gaming, or my extremely unqualified efforts at dog training, or anything else? And honestly, people probably don’t. But I still like the idea of a place to record those thoughts and share them with anyone who might care. So I’ve got to start somewhere. And I guess somewhere is here. At least now it won’t be blank!
